MANAGEMENT APTITUDE TEST (MAT)

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a national level entrance exam conducted by All India Management Association for admission to management institutes. This test is a gateway to PGDM and MBA courses and it is conducted four times in a year. MAT is conducted in offline (Paper Based Test or PBT), online (Computer Based Test or CBT) and remote proctored (Internet Based Test or IBT) modes. Candidates can choose to appear in the exam in any mode.

After completing Graduation, many students aspire to pursue MBA or PGDM from a reputed institute. Every year many students appear for MAT and are granted admission in Management courses.

ELIGIBILITY
  • Candidates must have completed Graduation from a recognized University.
  • Candidates having a professional degree (CA/ CS/ ICWA) may also apply.
  • Students awaiting Graduation degree result may also apply.
  • The minimum age limit to apply for this exam is 20 years but there is no maximum age limit to apply for this exam.

EXAM PATTERN

  • Paper consists of 200 multiple choice questions.
  • Paper comprises of 200 marks.
  • Time allotted to the students is 2hours and 30 minutes (150 minutes).
  • The medium of paper is English only.
  • Each correct answer rewards 1 mark whereas each wrong answer costs – 0.25.

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a very important exam for the students willing to pursue MBA or PGDM. It is conducted in February, May, September, and December. Candidates who qualify for the exam are eligible for admissions to 800+ B-schools so it is a must for the students to qualify for MAT to get admitted into reputed Business Schools. Hence, with hard work and practice students can qualify for the exam and come up with flying colors.
