Difference between BPharma and DPharma

Pharmacy sector has become one of the most chosen sectors among the students. Students from all over India are keenly interested in pursuing Pharmacy course. But after completing 10+2, students are always confused whether to opt for B. Pharma or D. Pharma. It is difficult for them to choose between the two courses. So, here is the proper and detailed information about the two courses which will make the students understand about both the courses in an easy and better way.

BPharma is a four year undergraduate course whereas DPharma is a 2 year diploma course which is basically preferred by the students willing to start their career soon. BPharma, being a long duration course has a vast syllabus and students pursuing B.Pharma are trained to prepare medicines and drugs for medical field. D.Pharma on the other hand, trains students about drugs and medicines and working under the supervision of experts. Students pursuing B. Pharma pay between 50,000rs and 55,000 rs per year as the course fee whereas the course fee for DPharma is between 60,000 rs and 70,000 rs per year.

BPharma and DPharma can be done as a regular course as well as distance learning course so the fee for both the courses differ from each other which means the course fee for regular D. Pharma course might differ from distance learning DPharma  course. Moving on to career aspect, both the Pharmacy courses are career oriented. But the annual income for both is not the same. The annual salary of BPharma professionals is 5 lac to 6 lac and DPharma professionals is 2 lac to 3 lac.

As mentioned above BPharma and DPharma have some of the differences which need to be understood whereas both the courses are lucrative and students can choose any course according to their will.
