Presidency University Bachelor’s Degree Entrance Test (PUBDET) is an entrance exam conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) and it is held once in a year. This exam is a gateway to undergraduate courses such as Bachelor of Arts/ Bachelor of Science (Honors) programmes at the Presidency University, Kolkata.
ELIGIBILITY
- Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary School (XII) not more than one year before applying for the exam.
- There is no upper or lower age limit for applying for this exam.
- Applicant must be a citizen of India.
- Candidates must pass 10+2 with at least five recognized subjects, including English language and excluding Environmental Science.
- Candidates must have score aggregate score in below mentioned subjects.

EXAM PATTERN
- The paper comprises 50 multiple-choice questions.
- The duration of the paper is 90 minutes (1 and a half hours).
- The paper comprises 100marks.
- 2 marks are awarded for each correct answer and 0.5 marks are deducted for each wrong answer.
- The medium of language is English while Hindi and Bengali papers are in the respective languages.
