Bachelor of Science or Bsc Agriculture is a four year undergraduate course that deals with different aspects of agriculture like Genetics and Plant Breeding, Agricultural Microbiology, Soil Science, Plant Pathology, etc. This course helps the students in learning modern agricultural techniques not only theoretically but also with the help of professional presentations, field practices, practical experiments etc. Students doing this course, are able to analyse and evaluate sustainable agricultural and rural development also.

Candidates likely to take admission in BSc Agriculture must have acquired aggregrate 45% in 10+2 with English, PCM/PCB as compulsory subjects from a recognized board. The admission is done either on merit basis or through B.Sc Agriculture entrance exam. After completing B.Sc Agriculture, students can either pursue M.Sc Agronomy or work as professionals.
